Apple MacBook Air MC965LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop

I have been previously a life-long PC user who thought people use Mac’s so they can look cool inside their pony tails and Patagonia jackets at Starbucks. So when arrived to upgrade the ‘ol Lenovo, one thing Used to was go to the PC store within our mall and check out the newest PC’s. And there’s a plethora of really cool ones. I seriously liked the Sony Viao in particular.

Then I went to the Apple store and looked at the Mac’s…and there’s no comparison due to the bodily machine. The Apple is definitely much, superior built. I used to be still about 90% sure I’d go PC though, because it is the software I’m concerned with. Speculate I used to be still a month roughly out of the buy, I started asking those who looked similar to me (you know…boring), at Starbucks and elsewhere, whatever they thought of their Mac. 100% of them loved them. 100%. Like every…single…person. It had been universal. Those who just switched, individuals who switched quite some time back, and people who also have only Apple ALL loved them. I could not look for a single person to complain.

And so i made the purchase. And that i adore it. Everything regarding it. The only real error message I’ve gotten on my own MAC originates from, you guessed it, normally the one Microsoft program I run (Office for Mac, which actually works well). So here’s the sale: the Mac just works. It will everything well, and it’s very intuitive. I needed a buddy who switched let me know “if you cannot learn how to make a move on the Mac, just settle back and think the way a 120 month old would do it”. Anf the husband was right. I became wanting to move a number of pictures and achieving frustrated because holding down shift picking images wasn’t working. I sat back and considered it, then instantly figured it out. You just slide over the pictures you need. That’s all. There isn’t any ctrl/alt/shift/f5 crap on a Mac. There isn’t any “This program performed an illegal operation and will shut down” warnings. No “Fatal exception occurred” messages that produce you freak out that your hard disk drive just crashed. Not like that. After i switch it on, it fires up within 10-seconds, and re-loads everything that was running once i shut it down. They inform me like with the flash memory, however i just know it’s awesome.

I set mine on top of another monitor (not the Apple one for $1,200, I purchased a Samsung for affordable), and awesome, I will have different stuff running on both screens. Took about 30 seconds to understand.

I’m able to honestly say the ONLY thing I prefer better on the PC is the place you’ll be able to Look for files. Around the Mac its referred to as “finder”, and it is much less good. That is it IMO.

I prefer my computer for basic office stuff, no programming, no heavy graphics, no gaming. For individual use, it’s web surfing pictures. I cannot speak for that heavier uses, however for a regular guy who travels for work and is also on the pc all day long, it rocks. In case you are focused on memory, get a USB drive, you will get one for next to nothing now.

The Mac is tiny, fast, reliable, and contains great life cycle of battery. I couldn’t provide it with higher praise for the way I take advantage of a computer. The truth is, maybe I would grow a pony tail….
